My mother’s favorite color was yellow. I painted this hibiscus with the bold yellow petals and red center that the actual flower possessed. I printed the image on black-and-white paper and then hand-painted it with a combination of watercolors, oils, pastels, pencils and/or dyes. I think Mom would have loved this one. How do you like it?
