This was an experiment that turned out well. I was testing a set of new watercolors on a seaside landscape print, painting swatches of each color across the black-and-white image to see how transparent they were. My daughter loved the result so much that I framed it for her and it is now hanging in her apartment. I thought I’d try a rainbow-painted version of this full hibiscus bloom. What do you think?
