I had some extra fun with this one. I really wanted to highlight the stunning vibrance of the colors in this particular hibiscus, so I painted several layers of color, first with oil paints, then with oil pastels for a deep orange base. Then I used pencils and oil paint pens for the details, adding a whimsy of glitter to finish off. I wasn’t sure about this one, but folks love it!
