I love ponds with water lilies - they are so soothing to the mind and spirit. I took the picture for this painting at the koi pond in the lobby of my condo. I painted it using dyes and oil paints in somewhat whimsical colors to match the mood this scene evoked of peace and dreamy contentment. I’m proud that this image was highlighted in an article about my artwork in Pacific Edge magazine’s Women in Business issue, January 2026.
