Bleeding Heart Hibiscus
This is another one of my personal favorites. I found the striking red color in the heart of the actual flower that I photographed for this painting so captivating and endeavored to paint it as close to the real life colors as possible. I printed the image in black-and-white on matte paper and hand-painted it with oil, pastels and watercolors. I am so happy with the bold and vibrant finished painting. What do you think?
